The age level for which a player is eligible is the player’s age on April 30, and they are expected to play with their school grade level. A player can play up only to play with his school grade, and not because he or his parents believe he needs to be at a more competitive level. The League Director should be notified of a player wishing to play up with his grade. A player cannot play down (i.e., play on a team younger than his/her age level) for any reason, per rules of the governing organizations.

Because the EPBA believes that no young baseball player should ever be denied the opportunity to participate in America’s favorite pastime because of temporary family economic problems we provide financial assistance to families in need.
